easy to make snack: white chocolate covered pretzels

This is my new go-to snack/dessert to make for events. It is so easy to make! I’ve made it for a dinner party, a baby shower & snacks for my co-workers and it’s been a big hit. All you do is melt white chocolate chips in a bowl for about 20 seconds & stir until it’s smooth. Dip half of a pretzel into the chocolate, lay on a rack & top with sprinkles. It does take some time to make but you’ll be glad you did 🙂

holiday cookie idea: angeletti

Warning: these cookies are dangerously good & may cause you to eat multiple amounts at once. I was going over to a friend’s place for a rom com night and wanted to bring treats.  I was in the mood to bake but I am a deprived baker since I don’t have many tools in the kitchen (I need an electric mixer in case anyone is feeling generous) 😀 So I was very happy to find a recipe with ingredients I already had at home!  I had no idea what angeletti was but I had the ingredients, I didn’t need a mixer and it was a simple recipe.  This is a really easy and quick recipe if you ever need to whip up some dessert. Angeletti is an Italian cookie and it’s a mix between a shortbread and sugar cookie.  You mix butter, vanilla extract, egg & sugar and then add in flour, baking powder & salt.  Roll them into little balls– they puff up big in the oven so I rolled them into the size of cherry …

baked peaches with granola

I’m kind of addicted to Instagram. I love looking at amazing photos, learning new recipes & tips and sharing about places and food I eat too. I get so much inspiration just from looking at photos. I was scrolling through my feed and saw a photo of baked peaches with granola. I love how simple it is to make. From ohthatsgracie: “Cold mornings call for hot peaches: slice in half, sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg and a little sugar, top with granola & pop in the oven at 350 for 20 min. Delish.” It’s great for breakfast, a snack or dessert. You can serve with vanilla ice cream. The peaches get warm and juicy and you get a bit of crunchiness from the granola. Can’t get any easier than this! Thank you ohthatsgrace for the idea & inspiration!

Anne Burrell’s peach crisp

I had a small dinner gathering with friends the other night and wanted to make dessert. I only had about an hour to get home and start prepping/cooking though so I needed a quick and easy recipe. I found some small ramekins in the cupboard and wanted to make something to put in there. I thought something with peaches would be good and found this perfect recipe from Anne Burrell for peach crisps! It’s a very easy recipe- you mix all the ingredients for the peach filling and blend all the ingredients for the topping and assemble. I encountered a bit of an issue though while I was preparing it and was worried it wouldn’t turn out okay. I sadly do not have a food processor (who wants to buy me a gift?) so I mixed the topping ingredients in a blender. It usually blends well but I had a bit of a technical issue and it was not working well! (time for a new blender too) So I ended up mixing it with my …
